The Guy Hoquet real estate network, owned by the Nexity group, doesn't intend to miss out on the signs of recovery visible in the French real estate market. To this end, the network, which has some 500 agencies, will hire 500 people in France "from this fall until the end of the year," the network's new CEO, Fabrice Abraham, who took office at the beginning of July, told Le Parisien.
"This recruitment reflects our confidence in our business," he said, noting that the agency network recorded a 16% increase in sales in July.
Candidates with a two-year post-secondary degree
These recruitments will focus on administrative management, accounting, and sales, explains Fabrice Abraham, who does not specify whether they will be temporary contracts (fixed-term contracts, etc.) or permanent contracts. The company is primarily targeting candidates with at least a two-year post-secondary degree.
However, while the real estate market is indeed showing signs of recovery, with many professionals reporting the highest number of transactions since June, the situation remains fragile. Fabrice Abraham also acknowledges that he is seeing "an increase in inventory and longer transaction times.".
